What regulations are relevant when renting a vehicle in the UK?
For all UK registered driving licence, a driving licence check is compulsory at the time of pick-up at one of our UK stations in order to be fully covered by our travel protection package.
International driving licence
If you are registered in the UK and have more than 6 points on your driving licence and/or with specific past driving convictions you will not be able to drive our vehicles.
For this purpose, if you are renting in the UK you will need to provide the following:
Driving licence number
Address information (As displayed on Driver’s licence)
National Insurance ID
